A flat $7 to any address in the United States, and free on orders over $60 before tax. Most orders leave the shop within two business days, and we email you the tracking number when they do.

Yes, and it is free. Choose pickup at checkout, and we will email you when it is ready, usually the same or the next business day. Ask for the pickup shelf at the counter. We hold orders for 14 days.

Order by Monday, December 14 and standard shipping should arrive by Christmas Eve. Orders for pickup can be placed until we close at 4 on December 24, and gift-wrapped pickup orders are best placed by December 21.

Yes, 6.25 percent, the Massachusetts rate, on everything except gift cards. It is added at checkout.

Not yet. Our checkout ships to US addresses only. If you need something sent abroad, call the shop and we will see what we can do.

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days with your receipt, for a refund or store credit. Candles, soaps and food can’t be returned once opened, and gift cards can’t be refunded.

Send us a photo and your order number from the contact page, and we will send another or refund you, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send the broken one back.

Yes. Gift receipts show no prices, and anything bought here can be exchanged for store credit within 30 days. Just ask for a gift receipt at the register or tick the box in the gift message at checkout.

In the shop, always: kraft paper with twine and a sprig, or a fancier paper and ribbon in December. Online, tick “Gift wrap and card” on the product page. It is $4 a gift, since it takes a person and a lot of paper, and we tuck in a handwritten card.

Yes. Put their address in as the shipping address, write your message in the gift message box at checkout, and we will leave out the price slip. We write your message on a card by hand.

Pick $25, $50 or $100 online and we email the gift card the same day. It works in the shop and at online checkout, and it never expires. In the shop we put it in a card for free.

Bridge Street has free two-hour spots, and the Old Mill lot behind the shop is free after 6 on weeknights and all day Sunday. See the visit page for a map.
